Education

The following majors are preferred:

  • Communications

  • Political Science

  • Urban Studies

  • Business

  • Digital Media Trends and Analytics

  • Management Information Systems or a related Liberal Arts field.

Responsibilities

Interns are invaluable and complement the work that we do as a firm. Experience will include:

  • Social media development

  • Public relations and media outreach

  • Research 

  • News monitoring and more


Interns will also have access to educational training sessions, and speakers and events (including networking events).


Internships are open to qualified candidates. In-person internships are recommended to experience the full agency environment, but we remain flexible with remote internships.


Internships may be completed for college credits. A Ceisler Media internship does not guarantee employment upon completion.  

Requirements

  • Sophomore, Junior, or Seniors.

  • Previous internship(s) or relevant experience

  • Strong writing skills

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work a minimum of 12- 20 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks

  • An interest in politics, issue advocacy and what is going on in the area and across the state is a plus but not a requirement
