MEREDITH MONTALTO

Senior Vice President

Meredith Montalto’s work at Ceisler Media focuses on creating advocacy campaigns in the fields of energy, environment and healthcare. She helps bring the voices of Pennsylvania stakeholders into the most crucial state and national conversations.

Meredith is an expert at building and coordinating formal and informal coalitions that help regular people gain influence with policymakers. She has furthered the causes of diverse groups, from sustainable farmers to clean energy executives, from children with asthma to public health researchers.

Often that work centers on coordinating a communications strategy to promote a policy or issue. Sometimes it involves helping clients find their voice, through writing op-eds and pitching stories to reporters and editorial boards.

Meredith also works with clients to manage community and media relations around siting and development projects; audit and assess communication programs to provide new strategies and platforms for engagement; and heighten awareness of their brand or mission among targeted audiences.

Meredith was selected as one of 13 Philadelphia leaders featured in Billy Penn’s “Who’s Next in Politics” list for 2017. Nominated by clients and colleagues, she was cited as an example of individuals “shaping the city’s political future,” for her work in the field of issue advocacy.

She is active in local politics in her home area of Chester County. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association.

Before joining Ceisler Media in 2003, Meredith worked in the office of Pennsylvania State Senator Constance H. Williams. As a constituent service aide to the senator, she worked with citizens to solve problems and address a wide array of legislative concerns.

Meredith holds a master’s degree in communication management from Temple University’s Strategic and Organizational Communication program. She graduated cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society.

She lives in Chester County with her husband, young son and daughter and two pet dogs.

Meredith is active in animal advocacy causes. She has volunteered for the former Delaware County SPCA (now the Providence Animal Center) in Media and hosted adoptable dogs being transported from Southern shelters to rescue groups in the North.

Meredith enjoys cooking, and is particularly proud of her dynamite meatball recipe.

As a native Long Islander, she loves spending summers at the beach.
