Joey Georgy

Joey Georgy is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office where he works with a variety of clients, performing duties ranging from developing social media content to pitching story ideas that highlight client programs. His experience working on political campaigns and a weak golf game have helped Joey develop a tenacious work ethic and very thick skin. 

 

Joey joined the team in 2020 and served as an intern for more than two years while studying at West Virginia University, where he graduated with dual degrees in political science and communication studies. As a long-time intern, Joey learned the ropes at Ceisler Media by working on diverse projects with many of the firm’s seasoned communicators.

 

Before joining Ceisler Media, he was an intern in Washington, D.C., for West Virginia U.S. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, gaining useful insight into the legislative process while providing constituent services for those in his home state. Prior to his stint on Capitol Hill, Joey worked on several political campaigns in West Virginia during the 2018 election cycle, developing a team of motivated volunteers and ultimately achieving the highest number of voter contacts in the state.

 

During his free time, Joey enjoys traveling, hiking, playing pick-up basketball at the local YMCA, and the occasional round of golf. He lives in Wheeling, W.Va.
