JEFF ALEXANDER
Associate
Jeff Alexander is an associate working with clients in the Pittsburgh office, as well as supporting Ceisler Media Senior Vice President Kurt Knaus on statewide issues.
Jeff’s educational background – with degrees in both sociology and political science – helps him grasp issues from all angles and dive in to find a solution. He has a keen understanding of the hows and whys that impact clients and stakeholders.
Before joining Ceisler Media in 2021, Jeff worked on the communications team for the Kellen Company, an association management firm. He wrote blog posts and press releases and worked hand-in-hand to assist clients.
He had meaningful internships prior to that with 150birds, a startup marketing firm, and with the National Association of Health Underwriters in Washington, D.C., where he learned about the legislative and lobbying process.
Jeff has a Master’s Degree in Political Communication from American University. He did his undergraduate work at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. There he was honored as the outstanding senior in the sociology program, and was president of the university’s Model UN program.
He lives in Monroeville, PA, the town where he grew up.
Jeff has a twin brother, Scott, a pharmacist who looks nothing like him and has been his built-in best friend since birth.
He is a cinephile with a collection of more than 500 Blu-rays and DVDs. A huge fan of Alfred Hitchcock, Jeff’s favorite film is “Psycho.”
Jeff’s parents instilled a love of traveling around the United States, and Jeff has seen much of it. He was most awed by visiting the Grand Canyon.
