CORINNE AHRENS

Corinne Ahrens is an associate in our Philadelphia office, focusing on environmental and equity projects, as well as legislation.  Corinne is tech savvy, a skilled writer and an expert on social media and digital campaigns.

 

Before joining Ceisler Media in 2021, Corinne worked on policy and communications for several social causes and organizations, including RepresentWomen, the Feminist Majority Foundation and Vote No Louisiana, a political campaign aimed at educating voters and protecting the right to choose.

 

Corinne has written more than 95 published articles. One that she authored for Ms. Magazine on former President Trump's face-offs with the media was that publication’s most-read story of 2020. Corinne wrote a weekly column on health and health policy (The Weekly Pulse) for Ms. and digital articles for Feminist Campus, RepresentWomen and the Feminist Daily Newswire. She also had a piece featured in the Fall 2020 print edition of Ms. that reported on upcoming ballot initiatives across the country.

 

In just three years, Corinne graduated with a BA in Political Science from American University, minoring in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She also completed a certificate in Women, Policy, and Political Leadership from the Women & Politics Institute. While in school, she was President and Communications Chair of Iota Iota Iota (the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies honor society), and earned membership in Pi Sigma Alpha (the Political Science honor society).

 

Corinne feels lucky to call the Philadelphia area home, growing up in several towns across Southeast Pennsylvania and graduating from B. Reed Henderson High School in West Chester. She currently lives with her family in West Chester and hopes to make the move to the city very soon.
